oh.. personally i don't recommend you to cut the sim card.. you'll have issues on it especially when it comes to signal.. normally sim card is $10.. try to check in a tmob store..once you have a new sim you can ask the store to update the sim card number on your account so you could still use the same mobile number and same plan you have,.

Yes when i leave the area, LTE in other places is much better. Its just this certain area that has congestion problems. I've tried as much as i could to make sure it's not my phone and honestly LTE doesn't improve at all. Switching on airplane mode never fixes anything too. The speeds are pretty much the same as the ones i've posted, around 5-20 kb/s for download and upload speeds are good, always around 300kb/s. My phone is the Galaxy S4. I've asked friends too if they experience these issues to and they've all sid yes. 4g has the same problems too and sometimes calls don't go in successfully or i get dropped calls. But good there's always wifi calling.

With all the changes within Tmobile in the last year they really don't
need a customer loyalty department anymore. With every user paying
full price for phones and Tmobile trying to have every one on the same
plans it really doesn't make sense to offer deeper discounts.
I think their jobs are to switch people to promotional plans they currently aren't
on like the 4 lines for $100 family plan with 2.5Gb of data or the like but this is just my opinion.

Yeah you're right about not being able to do anything. And believe me I have posted numerous times. As so much as to be accused of being a troll. Understandably those people were trying to help, but slinging mud doesn't help a frustrated customer.
In my situation TMO admitted to fault of error on their end, yet avoid rectifying it. Any way you look at it shows poor appreciation towards longtime customers.
If they refer to an email address(CRResponse@t-mobile.com) to submit a complaint, save yourself the hassle. Basically gives same response as regular CSR. Still I stay persistent to fight for what's RIGHT! And will continue until mutual ground has been met, satisfying both parties.

bobessem, I am just letting you know that because you do not meet the requirements, T-Mobile will not unlock the phone for you. Your best bet is to try unlocking services that charge you a fee.
Also, with 521, you won't get 3G/4G in your country, just talk/text and 2G (GPRS/EDGE) data. So, I don't know if it is even worth it to try to unlock the phone.

It doesn't appear to be an issue with signal strength, Her phone has full signal and text messages come through without any issue, I'd try my sim card in her phone, but I think they are different. Her phone has the bigger sim cards I believe. How can I go about getting a new one? The nearest TMobile store is 30 minutes away.

Just a gentle query I have recently git the WHITE one T999L and given preference over S4 or upper.Is this a phone which still very popular in the market what is your opinion but the worst thing is the battery backup with all time 4GLTE running I am not getting more than 7-9 hours

I recently did a factor reset on my phone thinking that T-mobile would store my contacts. I didn't realized that MobileLife was no longer in service. I would really appreciate someone helping get my contacts back from before the Sept 5 2014 contact sync. Let me know if you need anymore information
Jump upgrade online
I tried to Jump online and after answering a few questions regarding my device's condition. I get a message and it says that I have to file a PHP claim before I can use my Jump upgrade. My phone is not damaged so why is it asking me to file an insurance claim, when I'm just trying to upgrade my device. Can anyone help?! Thanks!
"Account refill required" after refill
I bought a T-Mobile SIM Activation Kit and, in the activation process, I chose the $30 prepaid plan, and paid for a refill at the "Fund you account" step. My phone got activated and I have my number. However, my account balance is still $0.00, even after 28 hours from the payment.
I checked with my bank, and the $32,60 ($30 + taxes) were debited from my account. I contacted the support via chat, they said I should contact the Refill Center via phone (1-877-720-5195). I contacted them, and couldn't solve my problem.
What should I do to get my balance updated and my plan activated?
