Okay, now I see we have an expert stepping up to the platetmo_sean_l
I totally understand what you are saying, but the physical nature in which your product operate causes even more confusion to be added to this topic. Now, knowing what smplyunprdctble has stated about changing prepaid to postpaid and then possibly changing carriers for my phone service (I know you guys don't want to discuss this possibility, but it's real) and then having to pay 10$ a month for something that was supposed to stay free forever.
So, based on that I won't cancel or change my prepaid account, but I may very well purchase a $10 SIM card on my postpaid account to add to a new "device". But your use of the term "device" is confusing because by nature your services are SIM based and not tied to a "device". If I purchase a google nexus phone from the Play store, I can swap my SIM out of my Galaxy S4 that I got from T-mobile without notifying or requesting permission from T-mobile. So, then if I want to use my 1.2GB free data on my post paid account in my tablet or in my laptop do you make it seem like my SIM is tied to a "device"??? All of these devices are owned by myself and I'm paying you a monthly charge for service (and maybe financing the phone as well ) but still I'm paying for XX GB of service. It's really of no concern to you what "device" it's planted in to allow me to extract the data of which I have paid. So really the "device" of which you speak should be the SIM. Talk about confusing..... Good luck explaining this!
Thanks for your time,
