Should I print this add and bring it to the store and will they credit my account?

In store and online they have the price listed as $99.60. Which means the above emails was most likely this was a special offer for select customers. Therefore, they would not honor any such pricing because it technically was never offered to you, so they have no reason to honor it.

Galaxy S4 APN default settings due to MMS issues

I was initially using jellybean on Samsung Galaxy S 4 and for a while was sending and receiving MMS with no issue. I can still send MMS without issue and but I was still having issues receiving MMS. I was advised byTmobile to upgrade to KitKat. Still experienced issues receiving MMS. Tried turning Wifi on and off. Under Wi-Fi Calling, Cellular Preferred is on. Tried setting APN settings to default. None of that worked but what ultimately allowed a message to get through was changing my default APN settings. I was unable to make changes directly in the default, so I manually created a new one and followed the guidelines listed:

To set the internet, picture messaging (MMS), and access point name (APN) settings, follow these steps:

Android phones

Note:
On Android phones you can reset the default APN settings for data and picture messaging (MMS).
In the event that you need to manually set the APN, follow these steps:

  5. If there is a T-Mobile
APN, touch it. If not, press the
    Menu
    key, and touch
    New APN.
  6. Enter the following settings for the Data
    APN:
    • Name:
      T-Mobile
    • APN:
epc.tmobile.com or fast.t-mobile.com (for LTE devices)
    • Proxy:

    • MMS protocol:

    • MNC:

    • Authentication type:<Not
      set>
    • APN type:
      <Not Set> OR Internet+MMS
      (depending on software version)
  7. Press the Menukey.
  8. Touch Save.
  9. In the list of APNs, delete all others that
may appear. If there is a
    FOTA APN,
you may leave that one. To do this:
    1. Touch the APN you want to delete.
    2. Press the Menukey.
    3. Touch
      Delete APN
      .
  10. Verify that there is a circle next to the
one remaining APN to show it is activated.

Under the APN type, I first tried <Not Set>, which did not work but Internet+MMS did work and I finally received a picture after saving out of my newly created APN. However, the green dot keeps going back to the default APN when I'm in APN section or nowhere near it. I tried to delete the default APN but everytime I click on it and then press the menu button to delete, the only option I'm given is reset it to default. I just want to be able to receive pictures so if there is no way to delete the default, how else can I go about receiving pictures?

which G2 version is in the T Mobile spec doc?

Tech Specs: LG G2

This above G2 Tech Spec is on Tmobile's Website, but it doesn't mention a version, for example, LG G2 D800 is AT&T's version, LG G2 VS980 is for Verizon. I can't find a version specifically for T Mobile on the web. So which version number is T Mobile's spec doc for?

I was reffering to the t mobile official 1700/2100 mhz bands. Regardless, the article im pointing at says that 2g 1900 mhz band will be upgraded to 4g lte. Going back to my original question, since the virgin mobile htc desire 816 uses the 2g 1900mhz band, and 4g 1900 mhz as stated by manufacture, will this mean we will have 4g lte on the desire 816?

I currently have service with Verizon and I'm switching over to T-Mobile I have a droid maxx and a galaxy S4 the rep states that I should be able to put the T-Mobile Sim card in and it should work both devices are factory unlocked and I live in zip 71109 would my devices have sufficient data service

Further details:

Only happens when wi-fi calling is turned on.  Tried different routers on different network and same problem with each.  Have a second Lumina 521 that works ok.  Go figure?

Either a hardware problem with Nokia 521 #1, or an APP confict on said device.  Funny that All Network Service both t-mobile cell and wi-fi are killed - hard.

Am reluctant to do a factory reset.  Much customization on phone.

I seriously doubt it's an app conflict. Third party Windows Phone apps simply are not able to replace or disrupt basic phone functions, unlike on Android devices. My guess is that you're encountering a defect ("bug") in the Wi-Fi Calling implementation on that phone.

A factory reset might help. I know it stinks to go through that, though. You can go to settings > backup to make sure that a lot of your customizations are backed up before you do the factory reset. More info here:

Learn about Windows Phone backup | Windows Phone How-to (United States)

If you do have cell tower access in the places where you use your phone, leave Wi-Fi Calling turned off.

T-Mobile has made improvements to the Wi-Fi Calling software that ships on the Lumia 635. I expect (this is just an educated guess) that these same improvements will be made available for us on the Lumia 521 and 925 devices in the next month or so. So at that time, hopefully your issue is resolved, but in the mean time you can try leaving WFC turned off (if that is ok in your area) or try the factory reset.

LG G2 has no service?

Hi, I just bought an unlocked LG G2 (from eBay, not from T-Mobile).  After inserting my T-Mobile SIM card, it is still showing "no service".  It appears to recognize my SIM card, as it shows my phone number in the About Phone section of the system settings.  I have 4 bars, but I have so far been unable to make calls, send texts, etc.  Is there some activation step I'm missing?  What might the problem be?
