Re: I switched to a different phone on my no-contract plan, called customer service, got it all taken care of. Was told 2 hours before phone would work, it's been 4 and still have no service.

Hello!

 

We would be happy to assist with this! Have you been able to update your SIM card via your My T-Mobile account? If not, this may be useful (a step by step guide as to how to identify your SIM card number and how to activate/update it): http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-4677

 

Once updated, your device should be up and running within 2 hours! Please note, after updating the SIM card number, you may wish to powercycle your device (turn off, then turn back on).
