text reception from second phone to first phone issues

My girlfriend and I share an acct with tmoblie and when she is in Gilbert AZ. she can  receive my texts and phone calls but her texts back to me will not register on my phone.  We can text in Colorado, Nebraska etc. but Gilbert...nope.  She can text everyone of her contacts while in Gilbert but not my phone............WHY....???
