So my mom's phone isn't working. She can't make calls or receive them. No text message. This has happened to all 3 of us once, but right now only her iPhone 5 is having trouble. This is the second time that this happened but this time it happened only to her phone. Sometimes the 'Searching...' changes back to the bars but without the carrier name and that happens very rarely. I've tried to reboot it a few times, turned it off and on, and even updated the carrier setting for her phone. I'm not sure what else to do, and I would love to exclude master reset out of this.
