I'm having the same exact issue on my iPhone 5. It's pretty annoying but sometimes when I restart my phone I get all the text messages. I called a t-mobile rep and they refreshed my line & told me if this problem still persists after 48 hours call them back again. It's been about almost 12 hours & I'm still having this text delay issue. I've exhausted all my resources including restoring and starting clean so I'm pretty sure it's Tmobiles fault. One theory I have is it's something to do with the LTE towers they are setting up. I barely started getting LTE in the Orange County CA area now & maybe they aren't 100% done programming those towers & it's interfering somehow.
