I unplugged my phone from my charger this morning and left it alone for 2 hours. I grabbed it to check for texts and it was dead. Completely. Plugged it in and let it sit, it did charge to 10% I turned it on to check. BUT when I leave it on, it won't charge properly. It's showing that it's charging if you look at the phone itself. Even when I check my battery app, it's showing as charging. But while it's on, it's dying. I use my phone for far too much to have to leave it off while it charges. And I end up charging it while I'm at work often and the charging it's doing while it's off is incredibly slow.
It was perfectly fine yesterday. This is something new. Did a new update happen that resulted in quickly dying batteries that were fine less than 24 hours earlier or could a battery actually try to bite the dust overnight?
