How is it untrue?
Everything works when you put your phone in IPv4/IPv6 mode. Everything
will work if you're in IPv4 mode.
IPv4 works 100% in your situation. There's nothing wrong with T-Mobile's
infrastructure.
It's untrue because VPN does not work over the T-Mobile configuration (as I'm sure you know).
My fix should not be necessary. It's a work-around for (partially) broken infrastructure.
If there was nothing wrong with the T-Mobile infrastructure, then no fix would be needed.
T-Mobile should have resolved VPN issues prior to IPv6 deployment. It should now expedite a general fix.
You applaud T-Mobile for trying to go IPv6 only. I get that, and that part is cool. What's not cool is trying to excuse infrastructure that does not work for VPN and instead trying to blame others. That does a disservice to T-Mobile, T-Mobile customers, those others, and to yourself as well.
