That's somewhat different from your original statement: "T-Mobile doesn't even have it's own stores. they all buy into and market the T-Mobile name and brand. didn't you know that?"
TM currently have 1,765 jobs listed on their Jobs site and from browsing through the first several hundred, the overwhelming majority are in-store retail. Each of the ads I looked at had the following standard paragraph: "T-Mobile is an equal opportunity employer (EOE)" and talked about "our employees", giving the very clear impression that the post being recruited was a direct position with TM.
If there is another independent company or collection of independent companies actually running these stores, TM certainly works very hard to conceal the fact. But if that were the case, the references above would be false and would surely have been addressed legally by now.
