There are requirements to have good WiFi calling experience, here are the numbers for your ISP
- Download Speed: 0.25 Mbps
- Upload Speed: 0.25 Mbps
- Max Pause: Less than 10ms
- Quality of Service: 85%
As for the ports I don't have any official information but found a few people that work with networks for a living and this is what they found:
To auth to the server and report their whereabouts, the following firewall port needs to be open:
5061 (TCP)
For voice connections (establishing call and voice communication) a large port range used:
52000-59999 (UDP) This is a guestimate based on the ports that were established.
In my research I found a couple others that said they used port 5060 for the TCP
I would also like to add that the RF channel must be 1,6, or 11
Furthermore with 2.4Ghz signals we recommend being within 15 feet for testing, because the 5Ghz degrades more rapidly you probably want to start your testing about 6-10 feet from the router.
Hope that helps!
