Transferred several lines from Verizon to T-Mobile in October. Ordered a 6+ 128gb space grey for my line and was told it would probably ship in a couple days. I knew this was wrong because I looked at the wait times online prior to going in, and saw it was weeks, which of course it wound up being. Has since been delayed multiple times, now to sometime in January. More delays probably inevitable.

 

Was assured 100% by T-Mobile that my line could remain on Verizon until my phone arrived. Then 2 days ago T-Mobile ported my number from Verizon without my knowledge or consent. What????? So I brought my Verizon phone into a T-Mobile store to see if I could get service on it while I wait for my iPhone. The guy said yes and put a SIM card in it. Barely got any service. No data whatsoever, and calls/texts failed more than half the time.

 

Called customer service. Supposedly nothing whatsoever they could do, even though they acknowledged they messed up. They told me I can try porting my number back to Verizon, but that would effectively cancel and re-order my iPhone, which would delay it even more. They told me I could try getting a basic loaner phone from a local store to tide me over until the unknown date that my phone would ship. Went into a store to get a loaner phone, because what other choice did I have? Lo and behold, they had none. Store manager called every single store in a 30 mile radius and none of them had any loaner phones either.

 

Unbelievable. Worst customer service I've ever experienced for anything in my entire life.
