Re: Refer a Friend

It’s easy to get started. To sign up for the T-Mobile Refer-a-Friend Program:

 

  1. You must be a qualified T-Mobile customer with a valid account and wireless phone number to participate in the Program.
  2. Visit www.referral.t-mobile.com to register. Register with your valid email address, T-Mobile phone number, and your T-Mobile Account PIN. Your PIN is
    1. the last 4 digits of the T-Mobile account holder Social Security Number, or
    2. your account holder PIN for Pay In Advance customers, or
    3. the last four digits of your Business Tax ID for Business account customers.
  3. See the Refer-a-Friend Terms and Conditions available below, for eligibility requirements.

 

New Customers:

  1. If you were referred to T-Mobile by another Program Participant via email, Facebook, or Twitter:
    1. Once you activate your new T-Mobile phone service, click the link from your referral; you will be taken to a special page where you can register for the Refer-a-Friend Program
    2. Select “I was referred” and provide the link information so that both you and your Referrer can be eligible to receive your Promotional Card.
    3. Complete your Profile with your new T-Mobile phone number and billing address information.
    4. Complete steps (a) through (c) within 2 calendar months of activation of your phone service.
  2. If you were referred "verbally" i.e. you didn't get an electronic message and click on a link, here's what you need to do:
    1. Once you activate your new T-Mobile phone service, register for the Program at www.referral.t-mobile.com.
    2. Select “I was referred” and provide your friend’s email address or T-Mobile phone number so that both you and your Referrer can be eligible to receive your Promotional Card.
    3. Complete your Profile with your new T-Mobile phone number and billing address information.
    4. Complete steps (a) through (c) within 2 calendar months of activation of your phone service.

 

Current Customers:

  1. Once you’ve registered for the Program, you can start making referrals right away through email, Facebook, or Twitter!
  2. If you already referred someone verbally and they have activated a T-Mobile account, please have them register for Refer-a-Friend within 2 calendar months of activation. Have them select “I was referred” and enter your email address or T-Mobile phone number when they register.

 

Refer-a-Friend Program Rules

  1. To qualify for a $25 T-Mobile Promotional Card, new customers must activate new service within 90 days of the referral and must register for the Refer-a-Friend Program online at www.referral.t-mobile.com within 2 months of new activation.
  2. New customers must provide referrer information at the time of registration in the Refer-a-Friend program to be eligible to receive a new activation Promotional Card.
  3. The Referrer must have active T-Mobile service and be active in the Refer-a-Friend Program at the time the new customer registers to be eligible to receive the Promotional Card.
  4. Both the Referrer and the new customer (Referee) must have remained a customer for at least 45 days after activating a qualifying service and must have active accounts at the time of validation. Inactive or invalid service will disqualify both parties from promotion card eligibility.
  5. You must be a new T-Mobile customer activating a new T-Mobile phone account. Self-referrals and adding a line to an existing account do not qualify for Promotional Cards.
  6. T-Mobile customers with active accounts are eligible to earn up to $250 in T-Mobile Promotional Cards per calendar year. Customers with Government or Special accounts, T-Mobile employees, agents, affiliates, dealers and resellers are not eligible to participate in the Program. PayGo and PaybyDay rate plan customers are not eligible to participate in the Program.
  7. T-Mobile sends referral Promotional Cards to the billing address on record and is not responsible for Promotional Cards lost due to incorrect billing addresses. You must supply your billing address in your Profile.
  8. If you cancel your account with T-Mobile or if your account is in Suspend status, you are no longer eligible to participate in the Refer-a-Friend Program.
  9. Referees are limited to one new activation Promotional Card ($25) per T-Mobile account.
  10. Referrers are eligible to receive up to ten $25 referral Promotional Cards per calendar year per T-Mobile account, household, or address.'
