What's your order status?

I ordered 3 64GB iPad Airs 2 (one in each color) around 3:45 PM on 10/30/14. As soon as I ordered, my order status changed to backordered. Today my order status is "being processed". We are going on a trip and really need these iPads. I lost patience yesterday with the total black hole of information and bought a 128GB silver iPad for cash from the Apple Store. Today I called and found out from T-Mobile that I can't cancel my 64GB silver iPad without canceling my whole order. My credit card hasn't been charged and no one knows anything when I call.

 

I wish T-Mobile would provide a little more visibility into my place in line, now I'm stuck paying for a fourth iPad because I don't want to go back to the end of the line by canceling the whole order, so when they finally arrive, I'll have to pay off the balance on the silver one so I can unlock and resell it. It's very hard to make plans with this kind of uncertainty.

 

The fact that you can walk into Best Buy or Apple and buy just about any iPad Air 2 makes me think this can’t last too much longer, but there are people who preordered the iPhone 6 from T-Mobile on launch day who still don’t have an iPhone 6.  So, fellow sufferers, let’s shed some light. When did you order and what's your status now? Did you have the same progression from "backordered" to "being processed" that I did? Has your credit card been charged, and do you have a shipping date? Without any useful information coming from T-Mobile I feel like we can at least get some sense of what’s going on from each other.
