Re: Official iPhone 6 What's Your Status? Thread

I have been a lurker of this thread for a few weeks now. I am generally a positive person and only until right now did I decide to make an account to express my complete and utter disappointment after my recent conversation with a T-Mobile representative.

 

I ordered a iPhone 6+ Space Gray 64gb on 9/19 in store. I was told 4-6 weeks appx.

 

I put the order on my credit card and was told the card would be charged when the phone ships. I received a letter from my bank a few days ago, explaining that my credit card would be cancelled due to a security breach and a new card would be issued to me.

 

I immediately call T-Mobile to explain my situation. They said as soon as I get my new credit card, to call them back and update the information so there would be no delay in my order when it is ready to ship.

 

Got the card yesterday, called today and was told that I could NOT update my card information. I have to await for a text message explaining that my card was declined, then and ONLY THEN could I update my card information.

 

Not only am I upset about being told wrong information, I am upset that the alert for my order disappeared when logged into my T-mobile and the iPhone tracker bar keeps saying the information for my order has not been uploaded to their system, to check back tomorrow. I've been checking for a week straight and absolutely nothing.

 

On top of that, I have read responses where people had their order completely cancelled because their card was declined. I don't want this to happen to me because I cannot wait any longer for this phone. 10/31 will be six weeks.

 

I am so upset over this.
