I'm seeing greatly reduced battery life as well since JB. Wifi calling, location services, google now and GPS are not enabled. I used to get 12-15+ hrs of use a day; now it's closer to 8 hrs for the same usage pattern and set of apps. Usage shows Android OS and Android System as the top power consumers all the time. The System Panel app shows mmcqd and tpd as the top 2 processes under Android System. Battery Guru doesn't seem to help, and the suggestion to cripple a phone that used to work well enough by uninstalling apps and disabling features is not a reasonable solution.
