yes any extra app from the play store or amazon, being from there it doesn't mean they are compatible, so uninstall all of them to find out if the phone is the problem or something else, as I said that's what happened to me just one app from the play store used to make my phone freeze, I was using it before with no problem on Galaxy S3 running jelly bean 4.2 and when I got the note 3 running JB 4.3 out of the box I downloaded the same apps I had before and the phone got issues till I found out what is the problem which turned out to be one of my apps downloaded from the play store, so just try, hopefully your phone will get better
