I am a frustrated and furious customer. Since about 2 months ago, eventhough my phone has been showing the 4G signal, the highest speed I have been getting is 230kbps-ish, which is the 2G Speed.
I have been paying for the 4G speed and T-mobile has been ripping me off and providing me with 2G speed only!
I've been on and off on more than 10 phone calls with the Customer Service Reps, or Technical Support Specialists, and they all troubleshooted my Phone (Galaxy S4) numerous times, all to no avail.
Some of them also told me that my 4G speed had been mistakenly throttled to the 2G speed, eventhough it was on the first day of my new billing cycle! Some told me they're upgrading the Towers in Chicago.
Anyone living in Chicago, please share your 4G speed experience so I'll know I'm not alone. So frustrated and it's still not resolved.
