Can I use a retina iPad mini from Sprint, Verizon, or AT

Backstory: I have a $200 Target gift card and would like to use it toward buying an iPad mini with Retina Display with cellular service.  Ideally, I want to use that on T-Mobile.  However Target doesn't offer T-Mobile iPads.  And the AT&T one is usually out of stock.

So I'm wondering: can I bring a Sprint or Verizon model purchased at Target over to T-Mobile?  I understand they all have the same cellular antennae inside.
