Hi mark5019 We obviously want you to be able to utilize that great data connection whenever you need it. Most often this setting will turn off if your battery gets low, or a 3rd party app will turn it off (generally a battery saver app). Take a look at Save and manage battery life: Android for tips on how to prolong your battery life and avoid these issues.
